Moonpie is a shy girl at first, but  will "warm up" to you with some gentle loving care.  She LOVES squeaky toys and treats and enjoys the company of other dogs.   Moonpie would love to warm your home and heart if you would give her a chance.  As you can see from the pictures, she warms up better than a heater on a cold day and looks as though she has that retired thinging down pat.

UPDATE:  Moonpie is adjusting nicely to life in her foster home but really would like to find a permanent home.  She loves to play with her 2 foster "sister's", running around the back yard, tossing around squeaky toys and keeping the lookout for squirrels. She mostly likes to rest, sunbath and rest some more.  Moonpie loves to eat and makes her way quickly to the kitchen whenever someone opens the refrigerator.  Although she does not eat people food.... she continues to hope for a scrap of food.  Don't worry... she sure likes her dog treats.  Moonpie is still shy but continues to feel more comfortable with people and needs a  warm and loving home!   Moonpie would love to be a friend to another dog already in your home!
