GPA/GO is committed to helping any Greyhound in need, including those who are ill, have a medical condition, or have serious injuries. It is not that we are seeking those special dogs, but we will not turn them away either.
Currently in our care are three beautiful, gentle boys, all of whom have histories of seizures. We took all three in over the last six months when there was no place else for them to go. All have required veterinary care, some specialized. All three boys are now on daily medication, and we are thrilled that there have been no seizures in the last few months for any of them!

Also, be sure you meet DOBBY, another sweet soul who came to us very sick. After extensive hospitalizations at both the emergency clinic and the specialty vet, a miracle was achieved, and Dobby is finally well, after being very ill for a very long time.

GPA/GO learned recently, and quite unexpectedly, that the cost per
bag of dog food for the adoption kennel will be going up $10 a bag,
from $14 to $24! That’s a 71% INCREASE, or approximately
$350 more a month!
