Beloved Greyhound of Gail and Tom Smith
When we first saw Lynn Sue, she was sitting in the turn out pen at the GPA kennel. She was actually sitting and she was so beautiful. She had been brought to GPA after living outside and as a result, she was heartworm positive and had a mouthful of rotten teeth. Her disposition was not the best. She had to under-go heartworm treatment after which she had to be kept on a leash for 6 weeks. We decided we would be her foster parents. When the time came for her to be transported to Seattle, we couldn’t let her go. So Lynn came to live with us as our third greyhound, had her teeth pulled, and blossomed into the sweetest, most loving greyhound imaginable. Her time with us seemed too brief, but we will always carry her memory and our love for her in our hearts.
