    LEG'S MOODUS
"BRUTUS"

1995-2009

On Monday, February 2nd, my beloved, wonderful, handsome "silver-back" went to join my "perfect" Belle at the rainbow bridge.  I had no idea there was anything wrong with  him, except he started getting fussy about eating.  I wasn't too concerned because, after all, he was 14 years old and deserved to be fussy.  But, knowing how food motivated Brutus was, I took him in for a check up by Dr. Marrinson, just to be safe.

Dr. Marrinson seemed quite concerned when he listened to Brutus' chest and suggested x-rays.  That's when I found out he had a huge mass in his chest cavity. From that time, it was only 2 weeks until he wouldn't eat anything at all.  No matter what I cooked for him, he just wouldn't eat.  I prayed for just one more day, but it wasn't to be.  I lost him at 4:30 P.M.

With four greys and 1 cat in the house, it still seems strangely empty.  I know that those who knew him will remember him with a smile for his "idiot dance" and that's the way I will ... some day.
