I am so devastated to have to tell you that Miss Tess, my first Greyhound, "The Most Beautiful Greyhound Ever" has gone to the Rainbow Bridge.  Exactly one month ago today an ultrasound found a mass in her intestines which turned out to be lymphoma.  We started her right away on a course of chemotherapy, but apparently the cancer already had a stronger hold on her little body than we knew.  She fought very, very hard but finally was too exhausted to fight anymore.

As all of you who knew her are well aware, she was an extremely sweet, gentle, intelligent dog who proved to everyone that Greyhounds can indeed sit!  Although there are still 5 other Greyhounds and 3 cats in the house, it is strangely quiet and lonely here tonight.
