HALLO QUEEN BEE
affectionately known as "Halle"
Good Morning All!
I thought I would write you ALL in one note, because each of you
were so helpful in aiding us adopt Halle.
Michelle: thanks so much for your time and your home for the
adoption process! The ride home was good for Halle for the distance
because she has just had a lot going on lately and she slept
soundly! Your Greys are just SO CUTE! We talked about them the
rest of the day.
Debbie and Linda: Thanks for answering all of my (our) impromptu
questions along the way and plotting the adoption for Halle in
particular. Great strategy! HA!
Bethanie: Our conversation was for only one one hour, one evening,
but you played a part in the adoption, THANK YOU!
Halle has not spent a full 24 hours with us YET but we have found
that she is definitely loving, sweet and absolutely ADORABLE! She
ate shortly after coming home yesterday and she ate very well this
morning. And of course, she has had some treats!
She was not sure about her bed for several hours...I finally laid on
it and she came to me and laid down on it...now it is her focus of
lounging. She also has many "babies" (plush toys) and she
definitely enjoys them all.
We have yet to test her on separation anxiety...will try that today
for a short spurts (15 min) and she has taken to stairs but still a
bit apprehensive, most especially the stairs in the house. Her walk
this morning put her down for an hour long nap!
Here are some pics we wanted to share. THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU for
helping in our adoption. She is a wonderful and delightful little
girl and her life with us has just begun!
I'm sure we may be contacting some of you over the next few weeks
for a few questions that may arise. Thanks for being out there and
thanks for everything!
