Turner
is a beautiful greyhound, and he is adjusting
so well. By the time I got him
home, he had learned the "down" command and was a liver treat officianado.
He was a
scream to watch when he tried to get up on the bed the first night.
But that amusement only lasted a day, and now he bounces right up
there. He goes on two 1-mile walks each day with Alex and I.
I have not needed to crate him, and he has not had any accidents in
the house. He deliberately lifted his leg on the Christmas tree, but
I don't think that counts as it would
confuse any new dog.
Best of all,Turner's affectionate
demeanor is just what I was looking for. He would
wrap himself around me like a stole if he
could. He is the
perfect compliment to Alex.
Thank you for a wonderful new addition. You may not have him back, but here is a picture to remember him.
