Purina weight circles
each bag of Purina dog food has a small Weight Circle located on the side of the bag.
Each circle is worth a varying amount of money, which when redeemed, helps us offset our vet bills. Purina calculates the total value of the Weight Circles and issues a check directly to the GPA vet.
Please cut out the Weight Circles and drop them off, or mail them to GPA. Since our vet bills are several thousand dollars every month (our biggest expense) these Weight Circles are really worth their weight in gold to GPA.
PLEASE, NO CAT FOOD WEIGHT CIRCLES, OR WEIGHT CIRCLES FROM CANNED FOOD OR SNACKS
Please ask other family members, friends, neighbors, and co-workers to save their weight circles for GPA.
Donations of merchandise and gift certificates for prizes and silent auction items
Monetary donations towards our veterinary expenses at Longwood Veterinary Clinic, Longwood, Florida or Banfield Veterinary Clinic, Oviedo, Florida.
Discounts or donations of services that would be beneficial to us.
RECYCLE, RECYLE, RECYLE: Don't forget to recycle your newspapers. We still have a rather large recycle bin. Please gather your newspapers and drop them off at the GPA/GO office. Sorry. No Magazines.
Prepaid Gas Cards - These gas cards can be used when hauling our Greys to other adoption groups (Maryland, North Carolina, New York) and transporting our Greys for their vetting.
Donations of Gift Cards from Petsmart, Petco, Home Depot, Lowes, etc.
Donations of Front Line Plus (45-88 lbs. or 89-132 lbs), Interceptor (51-100 lbs.)
Donations of Advantage and Heartguard Plus (51 lbs to 100 lbs)
CASH for CRITTERS: We have joined a new program called "Cash for Critters", which recycles used printer cartridges and old cell phones for cash. So, if you would please save your laser jet and ink jet cartridges, and old cell phones, and drop them off at the GPA/GO office we will do the rest. There are a couple of restrictions:
We cannot use Epson or Toshiba cartridges.
If the body of a cartridge is clear, white or gray, it is generally not able to be recycled.
Digital cell phones only.
No accessories please (charges, cases, earpieces, etc.)
If you or your office has a large donation to make and would like to schedule a pick-up, or if you have any questions, please contactPam Follett and she will be happy to help you.
