Welcome to GPA/GO!
Greyhound Pets of America/Greater Orlando is a non-profit corporation founded in 1996, as a chapter of the National Greyhound Pets of America organization. Our purpose is to find homes for ex-racing Greyhounds and to educate the public on the suitability and availability of Greyhounds as pets. The GPA office and adoption kennel are located in Longwood, Florida. Our Kennel houses about 35 Greyhounds awaiting their forever, loving homes. We are a 100% volunteer organization and we depend on donations to accomplish our wonderful mission; all funds go directly toward the care of the Greyhounds. Our goal is to find a home for every retired racing Greyhound that needs one, and we never turn away a Greyhound due to injury, illness, or old age.

GPA/GO OFFICE CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Due to the Covid-19 outbreak and social distancing guidelines, we have decided to suspend all face-to-face public interactions. This means we will not be showing Greyhounds at GPA/GO or doing home visits. Thank you very much for your understanding during this unprecedented time.
If you are a GPA/GO adopter who still lives in the Orlando area, please contact us if you are interested in fostering. We will be in touch when/if the need arises. Thank you!
Also, if you are interested in ADOPTING and you live in the Orlando area, please fill out and send a completed Adoption Application. We will then be in touch by phone or email. If you live outside the Orlando area, please find a Greyhound adoption group near you. Thank you.
CTW SAN LUIS
Are you looking for a special Greyhound companion who is happy, friendly, playful, sensitive, and affectionate? Then CTW SAN LUIS is the one for you! Luis is also very patriotic--his birthday is the Fourth of July (2016)! Luis needs a home with loving people but no cats or small dogs.
Everybody knows that Greyhounds love to run. Well, if you have a big back yard, you could see just how true this is everyday if you adopt JT CHILLIN (aka Chilli)! This sweet, handsome, 2 1/2 year old boy needs to stretch his legs before he's ready to snuggle up with his humans, which he also loves to do. He doesn't get along with cats, but would love to have a canine buddy to hang out with.
